So today I got a package. It was not the package I was hoping for but nonetheless it was a good one. Amazon is fast at delivery. I only ordered these books two days ago, and it was shipped yesterday from Mississauga. Anyways whenever I have free time now, I’ll try to start reading through these books. I’ll start with Programming in Objective-C 2.0 because its the foundation of cocoa! For some reason though I feel that Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X will be a fun read!

Hi there, I was considering purchasing the same two books. Just wanted to get from you whether you were happy with your purchase. I started learning Objective-C Mac OSX & iPhone beginning of this year. I purchased several iPhones books but none of them had a strong and detailed introduction to Objective-C 2.0. To this date, I have still tons of question I’d wish to find a detailled book answering most of them.
Hey Nicolas, I researched which books I should buy prior to ordering them. Everyone recommended Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X. This seems to be the best book for Cocoa Since it is written by Aaron Hillegass. As the user “99” in the macheist forums points out “He used to work as an engineer at NeXT, the company that originally developed OpenStep or the foundation from which Cocoa was built. After Apple acquired NeXT he trained the Apple engineers in Cocoa. Basically, he knows it and also how to put it on paper.”
